Fan commissioning

2019-10-18

1. The fan allows full voltage starting or step-down starting, but it should be noted that the current during full voltage starting is about 5~7 times of the rated current. The step-down starting torque is proportional to the square of the current. (when the power is greater than 11KW, it is advisable to use step-down starting.)

2. During the test run of the fan, you should really read the product copy and check whether the wiring method is consistent with the wiring diagram; It shall truly check whether the working voltage supplied to the fan power supply meets the requirements, whether the power supply is out of phase or in phase, and whether the capacity of the distribution element meets the requirements.

3. During the test run, there shall be no less than two people. One person shall control the power supply and the other shall observe the operation of the fan. First check the rotation direction is accurate; After the fan starts running, it shall immediately check whether the running current is balanced and whether the current exceeds the rated current. If there is no normal phenomenon, should stop for inspection. After running for five minutes, stop the machine to check whether there is any abnormal phenomenon, and make sure there is no abnormal phenomenon before starting the machine.

4. During the two-speed fan test, low speed should be started first, and check whether the rotation direction is accurate; When starting high speed, it is necessary to wait for the fan to be stationary before starting again, in order to prevent high speed reverse rotation, causing switch trip and motor damage.

5. When the fan reaches the normal speed, check whether the input current of the fan is normal, and the running current of the fan shall not exceed its rated current. If the operating current exceeds its rated current, check whether the voltage supplied to the fan is normal.

6. The motor power required by the fan refers to the larger power required when the inlet of the centrifugal fan and the air box are fully open under some working conditions. If the inlet is fully open for operation, the motor may be damaged. During the test run of the fan, close the valves on the fan inlet or outlet pipelines. After operation, open the valves slowly until the required working conditions are reached. Pay attention to whether the running current of the fan exceeds the rated current.
